This is all just training - for what exactly? I’m not 100% sure all of the time. But training isn’t about doing things that make sense right now, it’s about being prepared for when you need to be ready.
I don’t want to get a point where I need to write a book, or an article, or any piece of content, and I don’t know how to write it. I want to always have the discipline to be able to write what I need to say, and also write when I don’t feel like writing.
There’s no such thing as writers block for people who have a discipline of writing. When you know how to write, you can do it whenever and wherever.
The same could be said for any deliberate practice techniques. You need to be ready to do the thing that you want to be good at.
So, writing daily helps me build a writing habit. None of these daily writings are particularly impact filled or insightful, but they are adding to my habit. Adding to my discipline.
At the end of the day, people should be producing more than they are consuming. Writing is my form of producing.
